How much does an accessibility audit cost?
Pricing depends on scope: number of template pages, journey complexity, target level (A, AA, AAA). A WCAG AA / RGAA AA audit on a standard marketing site (5 to 10 template pages) typically ranges from €3,000 to €6,000. I send a precise quote after a 30-min scoping call — free and no commitment.
What's the difference between RGAA and WCAG?
WCAG (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) is the international reference standard, published by the W3C. RGAA (Référentiel Général d'Amélioration de l'Accessibilité) is the official French implementation: it inherits the WCAG AA criteria and adds a detailed testing methodology. RGAA compliance automatically guarantees WCAG AA compliance.
Which tools do you use to automate a process?
Mainly n8n (open source, self-hostable) and Make.com (SaaS, easier to onboard non-technical teams). For cases that need complex business logic or high volumes, I build custom scripts (Node.js, Python) with API integration. The choice depends on your existing stack, the volume, and who will maintain the automation after delivery.
Do you work with public sector and government bodies?
Yes. I have 7 years of experience with public bodies and major French clients (Urssaf, Enedis, Crédit Agricole, Ministry of Education). RGAA is a legal obligation for the French public sector since 2005; my work covers audits, remediation, and internal team training.
Why build a site in Next.js rather than WordPress or a CMS?
Next.js is the right choice when you need top Core Web Vitals, native accessibility, custom business logic, or a modern frontend stack (React, TypeScript). A CMS remains a good pick for a content-heavy site updated by non-technical editors. I'll point you to the right tool for your case — not the one I prefer.
How long does an accessibility remediation take?
Plan for 2 to 6 months depending on the conformance gap and the size of the site. The audit phase takes 1 to 3 weeks. Fixes are then prioritized by user impact and delivered in batches. Parallel team training prevents the site from drifting back out of conformance after delivery.
